PowerWind GmbH has sold five wind turbines to Great Britain and Poland. The closure of delivery contracts with three new customers is a positive step in the restructuring process initiated at the beginning of May.
During the past weeks, PowerWind and important suppliers have agreed upon continuing their cooperation which has lasted for many years now. Polish customer El. Wiatrowa Wola Raciborowska has ordered two turbines of the type PowerWind 56 with 900 kW rated power. Their installation in Kutno (Raciborow) is scheduled for Q3 2012. Moreover, three PowerWind 500 turbines with 500 kW rated power are to be installed in Great Britain by the end of September. Two of the three wind turbines have been sold to project developer Temporis Wind. The third turbine will go to Resilient Energy Great Dunkilns plc, a JV community development in the Forest of Dean between The Resilience Centre and local landowner Anthony Cooke.
