JSC VetroOGK, a subsidiary of Rosatom, has signed agreements for the construction of wind farms in the South of Russia with a total capacity of up to 600MW.
The wind turbines to be used were previously purchased from Lagerwey (The Netherlands). Construction of the first wind farm with a capacity of 150MW in the districts Shovgenovsky and Giaginsky (Republic of Adygea) will start in the summer of 2018. Commissioning of the farm is planned between December 2018 and January 2019.
