The SeaRoc Group has completed a maintenance visit to the two Forewind meteorological masts, installed at the Dogger Bank offshore wind farm site in 2013.

SeaRoc team of 9 personnel included an operations manager, rope access riggers and engineers to undertake inspections and scheduled maintenance on both Dogger Bank Met Mast East, located approximately 100 kilometres from the UK coast due east of Newcastle, and Dogger Bank Met Mast West, sited 150 kilometres from the coast. SeaRoc were responsible for all maintenance tasks including inspecting the ZephIR lidar installed by SeaRoc in May 2015 on Dogger Bank Met Mast East. The recent maintenance trip which is part of an ongoing maintenance programme which consisted of a vessel crew of 20 plus a team of 22 personnel including representatives from Forewind as well as the project’s other marine contractors. The work was successfully completed ahead of schedule on 20th September 2015.
