Puget Sound Energy (PSE) has ordered 149 wind turbines rated at 2.3MW each from Siemens for the Lower Snake River Wind Project in Washington state’s Garfield County.
The project will have an installed capacity of 343MW. PSE has an option
to purchase an additional 110 SWT-2.3-101 for later phases of the
project. The scope of Siemens’ contract with PSE for Lower Snake River
includes the supply, installation and commissioning of the 149 wind
turbines of type SWT-2.3-101, as well as a five-year service agreement.
