A long-term service and maintenance agreement was signed for the turbines and includes Siemens’ remote monitoring and diagnostic services. The nacelles and hubs for the Grant Plains Wind facility have been assembled at the Siemens facility in Hutchinson, Kansas, and the blades have been manufactured at the Siemens blade facility in Fort Madison, Iowa.
