Sif Holding will manufacture 114 monopiles (113 KTon steel) for Vattenfall for 3 out of 4 zones for the 1.4GW project Hollandse Kust Zuid offshore wind farm in The Netherlands.
Sif’s scope comprises manufacturing of the monopiles and storage at its facility in Rotterdam in 2020-2021. The Hollandse Kust Zuid offshore wind project is scheduled for grid connection in 2022. Vattenfall is the winner of zones I-IV of the Hollandse Kust Zuid offshore wind project . Two zones (76 monopiles) were already included in Sif’s orderbook as projects under exclusive negotiations.
