In January 2015 Statkraft and Vestas Wind Systems signed a letter of intent to supply wind turbine generators for the six planned wind farms in Fosen and Snillfjord in mid-Norway.
Recently Statkraft has informed Vestas that Statkraft has decided not to invest in these projects. Vestas was appointed as preferred supplier for these Norwegian projects with a total capacity of 1GW.
