Universal Foundation has announced that the company is engaged in Japan together with Hitachi Zosen. The cooperation is focused on a feasibility study to assess the application of Mono Bucket technology for a Japanese offshore wind power generation project.
The project is looking to combine the achievements from commercial projects in Europe and the USA, with the specific conditions and requirements relevant to the Japanese offshore wind industry. The work aims to support cost reductions for offshore wind projects in Japan. Hitachi Zosen is executing the works under a partnership with Kyoto University (comprising of Kyoto City, Kyoto University, Kyoto University) and Toyo Construction.
