Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order for 365 V52-850kW turbines for Kenya from Lake Turkana Wind Power Ltd.
Vestas will supply, install and commission the wind turbines and has signed a 15-year service agreement (AOM 4000) for the project as well. Installation of the wind turbines is expected to begin in the first half of 2016 and the wind power plant is expected to be commissioned in the second half of 2017.
