Vestas has received a firm and unconditional order for 90MW for projects in Brazil. The customer is the consortium created by Brennand Energia and Companhia Hidro Elétrica do São Francisco (CHESF).
The turbines are for the projects São Pedro do Lago, Pedra Branca, Sete Gameleiras in Bahia, Brazil. In total Vestas will deliver 10 x V90-3.0MW turbines and 30 x V100-2.0MW turbines. The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of the turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system and a 10-year Service Contract with the AOM 5000 solution.
