Vestas Eólica has received an order for the Negredo y la Calzada project in Castilla y León, Spain.
The order is for 25 units of the V90-2.0MW turbine and comprises of supply, installation and commissioning of the turbines as well as a 5-year service and maintenance agreement. The wind power plant will be located in Merindad del río Ubierna y Montorio in Burgos (Castilla y León). The order has been placed by Urbaenergía, S.L., a company fully owned by the ACS Cobra Group. The companies that will own the wind power plant are Energías Naturales El Negredo, S.L. and Energías Naturales La Calzada, S.L. Delivery is scheduled to start in July 2008, and the project is expected to be completed in February 2009.
