ABO Wind has placed an order for four V105-3.45MW delivered in Power Optimised Mode to 3.6MW for the Cappawhite B wind park in Ireland. The order is for the 14MW Cappawhite B wind park located in Tipperary County in Southern Ireland.

The contract includes supply and installation of the wind turbines as well as a 15-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM5000) full scope operations and maintenance service agreement. Delivery of the first turbines is planned for the second quarter of 2018 with commissioning expected in the third quarter of 2018.

Vestas has further received a firm and unconditional order in the USA, comprising 170 V110-2.0MW turbines, for a total of 302MW from MidAmerican Energy Company for a project in Iowa. The contract includes supply of the wind turbines, as well as a five-year Active Output Management 5000 service agreement. Delivery of the wind turbines is expected to begin in second quarter of 2018, with commissioning planned for fourth quarter of 2018.

The other US order comprises 100 V110-2.0MW turbines for an undisclosed customer. The order includes supply and commissioning of the wind turbines as well as a multi-year Active Output Management 4000 (AOM4000) service agreement. Delivery of the wind turbines is also expected to begin in the first quarter of 2018, with commissioning expected in the fourth quarter of 2018.
