Vineyard Wind is currently working on debris recovery following damage to a GE Vernova Haliade-X turbine blade at its 800 MW offshore wind farm under development in Massachusetts.
GE Vernova has identified the incident as "an isolated blade event" and is investigating the root cause. Avangrid and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners have assured that Vineyard Wind will continue to collaborate with federal, state, and local stakeholders to ensure the safety of its workforce, mariners, and the environment during this investigation.
