The A27-225kW wind turbine series of Aerogeneradores Canarios S.A. (ACSA) is a licensed version of the Vestas V27 design. ACSA produces, installs and maintains these units since 1991. For the UK and Ireland market, ACSA will manufacture its wind turbines in a co-operation with Precision Gear Company (PGC). Precision Gear Company (PGC) is part of the Macrete Ireland group of companies, a 120 year old family run business based in Toomebridge, Northern Ireland, UK. PGC is active in the market of wind turbine gearbox inspection, repair and refurbishment, for wind turbines from 20kW to 2.5MW.
