Samuel Leupold, 42, has been appointed as new Executive Vice President of the business area Wind Power.
He will be taking over from Henrik Poulsen, who, since his appointment as CEO of DONG Energy, has also been Executive Vice President of Wind Power. Samuel Leupold is Swiss and comes from the position as Executive Vice President with the Swiss energy company BKW FMB Energie. He is a qualified engineer and holds an MBA from INSEAD in France. He has previously worked for Bühler, McKinsey and ABB Power Generation. He will take up his new post on 4 March 2013.
