The District Court of Espoo has declared Winwind Oy bankrupt (on the basis of the company’s own petition) on 3 October 2013.
 
Attorney-at-Law Pauliina Tenhunen from Castrén & Snellman Attorneys Ltd. was appointed as administrator. According to Pauliina Tenhunen the bankruptcy estate is searching for alternatives either to continue the operations of the company or to sell the assets of the company. WinWinD has been heavily loss-making for several years and the necessary funding for approval of restructuring process has not been succeeded to arrange. Bankruptcy affects the personnel of Finland and Sweden totally 130 employees.
