EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg will build a service centre for its offshore wind farms in the North Sea in Emden, Germany. The construction of the building is scheduled to start in the spring of 2018.
Starting in 2019, around 40 employees will be performing maintenance and service work for the offshore wind farms EnBW Hohe See and EnBW Albatros. The service team in Emden will also be responsible for the maintenance of the planned 900MW HeDreiht offshore wind farm, which is scheduled to go into operation in 2025. In total, 60 new jobs will be created in Emden.
