Ezion Holdings, a provider of Liftboats & Service Rigs, and Sinotrans & CSC Holdings have established the joint venture Sinomarine & Teras (Tianjin) Offshore CO., LTD for the Chinese offshore wind energy market.
The formal establishment of the JV follows the announcement whereby Ezion announced that it had entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with a Chinese state-owned enterprise, China Huadian Corporation, to support offshore wind power installation projects in China. The group expects to operate 2 service rigs for offshore wind farm installation project by the end of 2016.
