Gexpro Services has acquired Frontier Technologies (Frontier) combining recently acquired Resolux and its core renewables business units to offer class parts and services to the renewable energy market.
This partnership adds U.S. manufacturing and engineering to a global supply chain portfolio. Frontier’s manufacturing locations located in Theodore and Brewton Alabama bring over 180K square feet across two 30 plus acre campuses. Twelve 30 ton overhead crane hooks are in use to service large items such as gearboxes, bedplates, and blade installation devices. In-house engineering and testing capabilities allow for prototyping to support expedite NPI projects. Frontier has also moved finishing capabilities on-site from surface prep to final paint application.
