Greenvolt has confirmed João Manuel Manso Neto as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the 2025-2027 term, following approval by the Shareholders’ General Meeting. He will also serve as Managing Director, as appointed by the newly elected Board of Directors.
João Manso Neto has led Greenvolt since 2021, overseeing its operations across three areas: sustainable biomass, utility-scale wind, solar and storage, and distributed generation. Before joining Greenvolt, he was a member of the Board of Directors at EDP Group from 2006 to 2021 and CEO of EDP Renewables from 2012 to 2021. He holds a degree in Economics from Instituto Superior de Economia and a postgraduate qualification in European Economics from Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
The Shareholders’ General Meeting also approved the company’s governing bodies for the 2025-2027 term. Vincent Olivier Policard has been named Chairman of the Board of Directors, with Bernardo Maria de Sousa e Holstein Salgado Nogueira as Vice-Chairman. João Manso Neto will also serve as a Board Member.
The Supervisory Board will be chaired by Pedro João Reis de Matos Silva, with Francisco Domingos Ribeiro Nogueira Leite and Cristina Isabel Linhares Fernandes as members, and Joaquim Manuel da Silva Neves as an alternate member. Deloitte & Associados, SROC, has been appointed as the company’s Statutory Auditor.
