In 2023, KK Wind Solutions increased its order book by 95% to DKK 3,450 million and revenue by 113% to DKK 5,486 million.

The year concluded with cash flow improvements, primarily due to the rise in cash flow from operating activities before financial items, amounting to DKK 1,304 million. Operating profit surged by over DKK 95 million to approximately breakeven. However, net profit recorded a loss after tax of DKK -164 million for the year, attributable to acquisitions.

The revenue surge in 2023 was partially fuelled by the strategic acquisition and integration of Vestas' converter and controls business, which added over 600 employees to the company.

In November 2023, KK Wind Solutions unveiled the acquisition of Nissens Cooling Solutions from A.P. Moller Holding. The integration of this acquisition is scheduled for 2024, with facilities in the Czech Republic, China, Denmark, Slovakia, and more than 800 employees. This acquisition elevates the group's total headcount to 3,300 colleagues across 10 countries.

Revenue for KK Wind Solutions in 2024 is anticipated to range between DKK 7,000 million and DKK 7,500 million. However, the profit outlook for 2024 will continue to be affected by integration costs.
