Since January 31st 2019, German engineering and consulting company Lahmeyer International is operating under the Tractebel brand with the new company name; Tractebel Engineering GmbH.
The Lahmeyer Group was acquired by Brussels-based Tractebel in 2014. Tractebel is an international engineering and advisory company with experience in energy, water and urban infrastructure projects. In 2018 the company recorded a turnover of € 662 million with a work-force of around 5,000 employees in over 30 countries. Tractebel is part of the global energy and services group Engie.
