Mainstream Renewable Power has announced it is launching a new business venture called Mainstream Capital in a bid to gain access to capital at better rates.
The new platform is targeted specifically at pension funds and insurance companies who want to benefit from government-backed, long-term cash flows by investing directly into the company’s wind and solar projects. Access to capital at pre-construction phase can be tough and by establishing this new venture the company could now secure access to longer-term, more reliable funding by developing its own capital raising arm.
