Felix Henseler will take over the management of the Wind Power Technology business unit of ZF Friedrichshafen, headquartered in Lommel, Belgium, in the role of Senior Vice President as of June 01, 2021.
Felix Henseler joins from Flender, where he was General Manager Applications, leading the new business for industrial gears and clutches since 2016. Prior to that, he was Head of Marketing & Strategy at Winergy, now a brand of Flender, from 2011, responsible for the global strategy and communications of the wind business. After studying industrial engineering & management and graduating with a degree in industrial engineering, Henseler began his career in 2001 as sales manager for the Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria region for, among other things, robot equipment at the then ZF Maschinenantriebe in Friedrichshafen. From 2003, he held various positions in Germany and abroad for Siemens and Flender. Henseler will assume responsibility for the second largest business unit of ZF's Industrial Technology division. The employees of the Wind Power Technology business unit generated sales of approximately €1 billion at eight locations worldwide in 2020.
