The Renewables Consulting Group (RCG) has announced the expansion of its presence in both the EMEA and Americas regions with three new hires who will be based in RCG’s London and New York offices.
Philip Redstone has joined RCG as a Senior Associate in the UK based from RCG’s new corporate headquarters. Phil joins RCG from SSE Renewables where he was GIS and Data Manager for Forewind (SSE, RWE, Statoil, Statkraft) – the consortium developing the offshore wind farm at Dogger Bank in the North Sea, and more recently working on the Greater Gabbard operational wind farm. Before SSE, Phil was GIS and Data Manager at RES Offshore and has also worked for The Crown Estate. Mel Russell has joined RCG as a Senior Associate in the UK. Mel joins RCG following 7 years with Siemens where he managed HSE for projects. Karen Thyssen Raaberg has also joined RCG as an Associate in the New York office. Since 2012, Karen has been working at DONG Energy in Copenhagen and London, where she was most recently Project Lead for Business Improvement. Karen earned a B.Sc. in International Business and a M.Sc. in Management of Innovation from Copenhagen Business School. She has also studied at Columbia Business School.
