REpower Systems SE generated revenues of € 626.1 million in the first half of fiscal year 2011/12 (1 April 2011 - 30 September 2011) – compared to € 499.0 million in the same period of the previous year. This corresponds to an increase of more than 25 per cent.
Total performance rose from € 515.2 million to € 590.7 million. In the reporting period the company generated operating profit (EBIT) of € 27.8 million (previous year’s period: € 34.3 million). In the first half of fiscal year 2011/12 REpower installed or supplied in total 489MW of capacity. In the previous year’s period new installations amounted to 399MW. The increase is mainly due to the installation of wind turbines in the offshore wind farm Ormonde. Furthermore a higher number of 3.4M104 turbines have been installed.
