Sirius Integrator has announced the new WindKinetic Polar 50w Wind Turbine Generator and their North American distribution agreement.
The Polar 50w is a 12v or 24v battery charger that is designed and manufactured in Florence Italy and applicable for both leisure and industrial off-grid power applications. This off-grid charger generates 50w nominal output, can produce over 100w in high wind speeds, and starts generating power at a low speed of 2 meters per second. It is corrosion resistant, operates in minimal temperatures (-70C), offers three phase high voltage output and includes sealed ceramic bearings. It uses an MPP battery charger and DC Boost converter technologies to maximize power generation. Deep discharge battery protection and an external dump load protection is built in to the charge controller. Custom mountings and remote monitoring capabilities are available.
