Skykon Offshore A/S and Lindø Industrial Park have signed a lease contract on 100,000 square meters area.

The leased area includes parts of the original shipyard facilities and a number of buildings for administration, workshop and painting hall for production of foundations for offshore wind turbines. Skykon will take over the facilities this autumn. Skykon Offshore A/S will invest hundreds of millions of DKK for the enlargement of their operation at Lindø. Both parties signed a long term agreement and will run for a minimum of ten years. The new facility will be ready for disembarkation of the first foundations in the first quarter 2011.
