Verlume has appointed Jay Parle as head of engineering. He brings more than 20 years of experience in subsea controls, offshore renewables, carbon capture and storage, and nuclear energy. Throughout his career, Parle has led multidisciplinary engineering teams and overseen the development of engineering systems from concept through to commissioning.
His areas of expertise include systems engineering, subsea controls, mechanical engineering, project delivery, technology development and engineering management. He also has experience supporting business development and delivering engineering solutions for customers. In his new role, Parle will lead Verlume’s engineering function, overseeing the development and delivery of its subsea power platform and systems integration capabilities across its markets.
