WFO and EIC sign MoU to bolster global offshore wind capacity

World Forum Offshore Wind (WFO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UK’s Energy Industries Council (EIC) to promote offshore wind energy worldwide.

 

Both organisations are also going to collaborate on offshore wind supply chain project activities. Established in 1943, the EIC is a trade association for companies working in the global energy industries. Together, WFO and the EIC will work towards the goal of adding 500 GW of global offshore wind capacity by 2050.
