Denmark has been named the official partner country for Husum Wind 2025. From 16 to 19 September 2025, Danish companies spanning turbine production, offshore development, energy storage, and service provision will showcase their innovations.
In partnership with Scandinavian collaborators, Messe Husum is hosting a German-Danish Energy Dialogue during the exhibition. This programme will include an opening panel, discussions, forums, and excursions.
Denmark’s close ties with Schleswig-Holstein are underpinned by strong economic connections, the “Energy Coast” as a driver of the energy transition, and collaborative infrastructure initiatives like the German-Danish hydrogen pipeline. Denmark has long been a leading exhibitor at Husum Wind, with significant representation among trade visitors from the region.
A European leader in wind energy, Denmark has ambitious targets to expand offshore wind capacity to 10 GW by 2030 and to further increase renewable energy’s share in its power mix. The country is also at the forefront of developing energy islands, with the first project planned for the North Sea. Beyond large-scale offshore wind, Denmark is focusing on integrating energy storage and green hydrogen solutions to realise a climate-neutral energy system.
