Offshore Center Danmark is joining forces with Invest in Denmark to market Denmark to foreign companies in the offshore wind energy sector. Invest in Denmark is under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, which is making an effort to attract foreign investments that can create knowledge-intensive jobs in Denmark.
Invest in Denmark is going to use Offshore Center Danmark’s international event for the offshore wind sector in November, known as the Offshore Wind International Business2Business Event, as a platform for marketing the Danish wind energy sector internationally. OWIB – the Offshore Wind International Business2Business event – is an international forum organized by Offshore Center Danmark where companies can have brief, informal meetings to meet new suppliers and partners and market themselves to potential customers. Participants at the OWIB are provided with a list of all those who have signed up. They can then ask to have meetings with representatives from specific businesses, energy companies or industry organizations.
