Scottish Renewables has launched a new Clean Energy Cluster organisation during its Offshore Wind Conference in Glasgow. The initiative aims to strengthen Scotland’s offshore wind sector by supporting and connecting supply chain organisations across the country, from the Borders to the Highlands and Islands.
The Clean Energy Cluster will promote collaboration, business development, and innovation while driving skills growth and enhancing the global competitiveness of Scotland’s renewable energy supply chain. The cluster will act as a platform to guide suppliers aiming to thrive in the renewable energy market.
Scottish Renewables was recently appointed by the Scottish Offshore Wind Energy Council (SOWEC) as the Cluster Management Organisation to transition from the existing model to a unified national supply chain cluster. The organisation will work closely with suppliers, enterprise agencies, and academic institutions to foster collaboration at the core of the Clean Energy Cluster.
