Ditlev Engel has been appointed by the Danish Government as Denmark’s special envoy for Climate and Energy until the end of September 2019. He will take on this temporary assignment in addition to his current position as CEO of DNV GL – Energy.As special envoy, Ditlev Engel will strengthen Denmark’s global partnerships, promote private investments in the green transition and generally support Denmark’s international climate action in the lead up to the UN Climate Summit in New York September 2019. The focus will particularly be on green climate investments to achieve higher country ambitions. Concrete action in support of the Paris Agreement targets will have to be displayed.
