The Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan has announced the results for the country’s Round 3.2 offshore wind tender. The country awarded 2.7 GW of total capacity to five projects.
Synera Renewable Energy was awarded the Formosa 6 project, which has a capacity of 800 MW. Shinfox Energy won the right to develop the Youde project, with a capacity of 700 MW. Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners secured the FengMiao 2 project in the tender, which will generate 600 MW. Corio Generation and TotalEnergies were awarded the Formosa 3 project, with a capacity of 360 MW. Enervest was awarded the Deshuai project, which will produce 240 MW.
