ProPlanEn and EMD have signed an agreement. It is designed to provide an interface for running WakeBlaster with release 3.4 of WindPRO.
WakeBlaster computes wind farm power output and wake loss, using a 3D RANS solver. The new CFD wake model replaces many empirical approximations , modelling wind farms with greater accuracy and at a deeper level of detail. WakeBlaster can be used for iterative wind farm development, pre-construction project assessment, operation monitoring and performance evaluation.
