Gamesa has launched the Mega system, to provide customers with detailed information on conditions at their wind farms.
Gamesa has spent more than seven years investing in wind pattern forecasting and wind farm output modelling systems, as monitoring and forecasting are key elements of comprehensive wind farm management. Based on this experience, Gamesa has created the Mega system, which allows subscribers to access seven-day forecasts for hourly wind conditions and wind farm output. The new service offers customers a solution for comprehensive wind farm management which helps to mitigate both the financial and workforce risks associated with weather variations. Similarly, Mega is useful for streamlining planning of operational and maintenance activities. The Mega service is accessible through a users-only website in Basic and Premium versions.
