Hailo Professional premiered its BLADElift on March 18, 2011. The lift was developed in collaboration with L&L Rotorservice.
The BLADElift provides a solid and safe platform, which supports maintenance staff in their day-to-day work. It slides up the tower wall to the rotor blades and – thanks to its practical U shape – hugs the rotor blade in such a way that it allows the safeguarded mechanics to carry out their work at such great heights more easily. The lift offers, with transport dimensions of 6.53 metres in length and just 2.40 metres in width, the perfect prerequisites for fast and safe transport from system to system. A matching, twin-axle transport trailer is the basis for swift loading and unloading of the lift system which permits the maintenance of several wind power systems a day. The lift will be available for delivery by the middle of the year.
