Mistaya Engineering Inc. has announced a new release of Windographer, its wind data analysis software. Windographer is used to analyse wind resource data measured by met towers, sodar or lidar.
The new version features a new quality control system that lets users highlight, classify, and filter data by applying user-defined flags to data segments. Users can apply flags both through visual inspection and with formal search rules, and then include or exclude flagged data from calculations, graphs and export files. This new approach to quality control improves speed, consistency and transparency. Flag rules can catch problems like icing and tower shading in seconds, and teams can easily share flag rules to ensure consistency. Filter settings are explicit and intuitive, and every flag operation is recorded and reversible.
