Unimar Inc. introduced the Dialight LED D265 Medium Intensity Dual Beacon and the Synchronized Flasher Controller.
This red/white flashing beacon is ideal for wind turbines. This new beacon will provide over 20,000 candela of white during the day and 2,000 candela red at night. Additionally, this dual beacon is resistant to vibration, strong winds and severe temperatures. An internal temperature management system maintains LED temperatures, insuring long life in even the most severe environments. It can be coupled with Unimar's GPS controller to synchronize the beacons for a wind farm.
The Synchronized Flasher Controller (1-circuit) uses GPS technology to flash obstruction lights in unison. The SFC (Synchronized Flasher Controller) is built to be resistant to shock, vibration and humidity; housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure (also available integrated directly into the beacon fixture). Using GPS technology, this device will provide synchronized flashing of all LED beacons connected to it. The Synchronized Flasher Controller is designed to integrate seamlessly with the LED beacons, offering a solution to wind farm lighting that is effective for aviation warning, environmentally friendly.
