Sinovel, a Chinese wind turbine manufacturer, has now developed its own 3MW wind turbine with GL certification.
Germanischer Lloyd is in charge of certifying the complete design of the 3MW wind turbine SL 3000, which will be available as onshore and offshore version. The experts will carry out the wind turbine design assessment according to their own and international rules and directives. The process comprises the assessment of all installation components including tower, rotor blades, mechanical as well as electrical components and safety system.
