Nordex has received the unit certificate according to VDE-AR-N 4120 for the N117/3000 turbine from FGH Zertifizierungsgesellschaft mbH (Germany). Presentation of the unit certificate is a prerequisite for connection to the German high-voltage grid (TCC High Voltage110 kV grid) and the operation of wind turbine generators as of 01 July 2017.
The unit certificate confirms that the wind turbine fully complies with the TCC High Voltage requirements. In addition to this, Nordex's own wind farm controller (EZA controller) is being certified by FGH Zertifizierungsgesellschaft mbH. The EZA controller controls in particular the active and reactive power supply by individual Nordex wind turbines in line with the current requirements of the grid operator at the grid connection point.
