STRUCTeam has launched its new wind turbine blade reference design portfolio. The portfolio features a hybrid glass-carbon composite blade design created for offshore wind turbines.
They delivered a certified blade for onshore turbines that is currently in full production. They have also extended their reference designs into the offshore arena. Their 78.5 metre hybrid glass-carbon blade (STL-785-C) is tuned for use on 6MW turbines in large Class IIA offshore wind farm developments.
