Swiss company Sulzer Schmid has introduced its latest 3DX AutoPilot, a drone for wind rotor blade inspection, with an upgraded image capturing system.
Mounted on DJI’s latest Matrice M350 Enterprise drone, the new 3DX AutoPilot payload provides up to 61MP resolution images and introduces a precise adaptive focus and optimized exposure settings for each image, allowing the drone to be positioned closer to the blade. The AutoPilot's ISO settings, aperture, and shutter speed are individually set for each image. The image quality makes it easier to identify and classify damages, reducing the risk of missed or incorrectly executed repairs.
