Thies Clima presents the Ultrasonic 2D Compact Plus anemometer. Using the point-to-point measurement method, the anemometer delivers accurate readings of horizontal wind speed, wind direction, acoustic-virtual temperature, and optionally air pressure.Beyond these measurements, the device improves pitch and yaw control. Key features of the anemometer include enhanced ice resistance, meeting the MIL-STD 810G standard for reliability in icy conditions. The intelligent ultrasonic level ensures uninterrupted operation during severe thunderstorms by consistently maintaining signal power and dynamically adjusting plausibility values in turbulent conditions. Connectivity and control are achieved through PROFINET, facilitating communication with other systems. The integrated web server and Ethernet TCP/IP enable integration, access, and remote monitoring via a web interface. The anemometer also includes self-diagnostics for predictive maintenance.
