ZF Wind Power has advanced its Shift modular gearbox platform, introducing the new generation SHIFT 4k. This upgrade enhances the flexibility and efficiency of the platform, allowing for customisation based on market demands.
Shift 4k offers a torque range from 4000 to 5900 kNm and turbine output between 3.6 to 5.6 MW, with gear ratios reaching up to 190. The modular design enables optimisation for different market needs, such as tonality-sensitive, capacity factor driven, and capex-oriented markets. The development of the new generation SHIFT took place in close System Co*operation with partners.
