Master Builders Solutions has been supplying its MasterFlow 9800 high strength offshore grout in bulk containers to the Port of Loading in Scotland, in preparation of the offshore grouting works to commence for the Moray East offshore wind farm.Twenty-six foundations of which three for the offshore substations have been successfully installed to date. DEME Offshore, the EPCI contractor for Moray East’s foundations, awarded the grout supply contract to Master Builders Solutions in October 2019. The 950 MW project will comprise 100 wind turbine foundations and 3 foundations for offshore substations. Provided the project can continue its rhythm of foundation installation and grouting, all foundations are expected to be installed and grouted early 2021.
