Ammonit has won the international tender for a nationwide wind measurement campaign organised by the Centre for Wind Energy Technology (C-WET) in India.
The purpose of the campaign is to obtain precise wind measurements, according to the internationally accepted standard IEC 61400-12-1. C-WET will install 100 met masts equipped with Ammonit Meteo-40 data loggers and anemometers from Thies. The data logger records wind speed, wind direction, air pressure and temperature at the site. Using the web interface of the Meteo-40 data logger, C-WET configures the data loggers according to their individual requirements. The collected statistical data is encrypted by the Meteo-40 data logger and transferred via GSM/GPRS and satellite connection to C-WET. In order to monitor its measurement campaign, C-WET will use the met mast monitoring online web platform AmmonitOR (Ammonit Online Report).
