Ampair has announced that it has won a contract to supply GL Garrad Hassan with a hybrid renewable energy system and control room for Celtic Arrays potential wind farms in the Irish Sea.
The equipment will be manufactured at Ampair’s factory in Dorset, UK. The contract is for the design and manufacture of the control room and associated hybrid renewable energy system that will power a remote measurement platform in the Irish Sea. The unmanned automatic control room will gather information about wind and wave and other weather data for the wind farm.
