Community Offshore Wind submits bid for New Jersey’s fourth offshore wind solicitation

Community Offshore Wind, a joint venture of National Grid and  RWE has submitted a bid in New Jersey’s Fourth Solicitation (NJ4).

 

The project is planned for a lease area that is 37 miles from the Garden State’s coast. The proposed project would generate 1.3 GW. New Jersey’s Board of Public Utilities is expected to announce the winners of NJ4 in December 2024.
